WF Risk Group, which includes the founding Belfast business Willis Insurance & Risk Management, has announced a rebrand, marking a significant step in the evolution of the business and its long-term growth strategy. The refreshed identity reflects a clear objective to align all regional insurance broking operations across the UK and Ireland.

“Today’s rebrand represents an important milestone for WF Risk Group as we bring our businesses together under one unified brand,” said Richard Willis, Managing Director of WF Risk Group. “This strategic move aligns our regional insurance broking operations and creates a stronger platform to serve clients with consistent, high-quality advice. It reflects both our heritage and our ambition—to grow sustainably while maintaining the trusted relationships and specialist expertise that define our business.”

As part of the rebrand, Kennett Insurance Brokers Ireland DAC, led by Bruce Low, has formally changed its name to WF Risk Insurance Brokers DAC. This development strengthens the Group’s presence in Ireland, aligns the business with the wider WF Risk brand, and builds on the strong relationships and trusted service already established.

While the Group’s Dublin office continues to grow following the acquisition of Compass Insurance Brokers, a new opportunity has been identified in the Edinburgh market. With many regional and national brokers traditionally operating from Glasgow, WF Risk Group sees strong potential to provide a locally based advisory service in the Scottish capital and surrounding areas.

As part of this expansion WF Risk Group has introduced WF Risk Insurance Brokers which welcomes Chris Rankin as Regional Director. Based in the George Street office, Chris brings extensive industry experience and a strong track record in building client relationships and delivering strategic insurance solutions. In his new role, he will lead regional development efforts and play a key role in establishing the firm’s presence in the Scottish market.

WF Risk Group, and it’s companies, will focus on delivering bespoke insurance solutions across a wide range of sectors, while pursuing growth opportunities throughout the UK and Ireland as it builds on nearly 50 years of insurance broking experience.
