Our Placement programme is designed to provide a platform for undergraduate students to achieve real hands-on work experience that showcases their full potential and provides them with the opportunities to make a difference to our business and clients. We have opportunities available within our teams across the group in GB and NI. Working with us will give you the opportunity to learn and grow into a career within the Insurance Industry and develop and demonstrate your skills by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industry sectors. We will support you in gaining the introductory-level qualification – Foundation Insurance Test (FIT).

What does the role involve?

  • Assist us in providing professional advice and service to all clients.
  • Work with senior directors and colleagues to provide clients with the relevant product information which best meets their needs and allows them to make informed decisions.
  • Get involved in managing policy events following compliant processes.
  • Develop relationships with our clients and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ascertain how to identify and mitigate the impact of potential issues and recognise opportunities for growth.
  • Gain cutting-edge skills and knowledge working on a variety of projects individually and as part of a team.

This is a 12 Month programme offering exposure to the vibrant world of insurance and Risk Management as part of one of the Divisions within WF Risk Group with the opportunity to be offered a graduate job upon completion of your studies for those who excel.


  • Studying and Business or finance-related degree and a strong academic record to date
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive work ethic and drive to meet deadlines/targets

  • Previous work experience is not essential but previous work experience or placements in a similar office environment is desirable.
