Graduate Programme

Our Graduate programme is a 18 Month Programme where successful graduates can achieve the following objectives:

1. Fully Trained/competent Client Manager at the end of 18 Months
2. Completed Cert CII Professional Qualification and Progress towards Industry recognised qualification (Dip CII)
3. Clear vision of a successful career in the insurance industry and pathway to career progression

We are open graduates from all degree areas who are interested in pursuing a career within the insurance industry with a progressive, supportive organisation which is committed to providing opportunities for all individuals.

This programme combines study, social and hands-on work experience to build knowledge and skills to excel in the insurance industry.  As Corporate Chartered Insurance Brokers, we support and will provide you with CII Membership, study support material as well as study leave and a financial bonus upon successful completion of CII qualifications.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Working with us as a Graduate Insurance Broker, you have the opportunity to work towards the above objectives whilst working with and building strong working relationships with clients across a wide range of industry sectors.

On a daily basis, we expect you to showcase your skills and knowledge by:

  • providing support to broking team members in the overall servicing of clients’ insurance programmes;
  • preparing high quality and accurate market and client documentation;
  • obtaining quotations for both new and renewal business as required;
  • assisting in the placement of insurances for clients in accordance with strategy;
  • providing clients with policy documentation in accordance with FCA regulation;
  • efficiently dealing with client queries to the satisfaction of the client and the market, including changes in cover and risk;
  • developing and applying knowledge and understanding of product features;
  • managing personal workloads and meeting deadlines;
  • keeping accurate client records and files at all times, including timely inputting of all client data into our bespoke system;
  • ensuring that Company procedures, our high client service standards and FCA compliance regulations are adhered to and maintained, at all times acting in the best interests of our clients.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES

  • 1st or 2nd class degree in any discipline.
  • No previous experience necessary, but relevant work experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • high level of motivation and resilience with a proactive attitude.
  • enthusiastic individuals who are committed and keen to learn.
  • IT proficient.
  • Confident, clear, professional and courteous communication skills.
  • ability to support colleagues in a close team environment.
